U vs Ayacucho Match Preview

Universitario will face Ayacucho in week 6 of Fase 2 at 1:15pm Peru time (2:15 Atlantic, 11:15 Pacific). Ayacucho is coming back to back wins with a big win over red-hot Deportivo Municipal last week. The U is also coming off a win over Cienciano and seeks to keep the momentum going. Entering the match, the Crema will be without Gerson Barreto and Federico Alonso due to injuries.
Universitario, with the absences of our to key starting defenders, should utilize Alexander Succar more. Succar has been showing so much improvement this season and this match is the best time for him to showcase more of his talent by being a starter today.
Key players to watch: ‘Chiquitin’ Quinteros, Hernan Novick, Alexander Succar (U). Pablo Lavandeira (Ayacucho).
